Easycs Training in collaboration with Putra Business School (PBS), University Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized a 10 days study visit program from 7 March 2018 until 16 March 2018 for the Health Economics Unit of Health Services Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh.
The program was to enhance the knowledge of the participants in the area of capacity development of the key stake holder on Social Health Insurance from Malaysian perspective and practices.
The study tour program was consisted of classroom lecture session and a number of organization visits related to social health insurance in Malaysia including Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) Kuala Lumpur, SOCSO Rehabilitation Centre in Malacca, and Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital in Kuala Lumpur .

The classroom training session was conducted at Putra Business School by a resource person from the Ministry of Health Malaysia to explain the government initiative as well the implementation of social health insurance in the health sector in Malaysia.
Upon completion of the program, on the last day, participants were awarded with certificates distributed by Prof. Dr. Zulkornain, the CEO of Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
From the 26th July 2018, Easycs Training in collaboration with University Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized a 8 days study visit program in Maldives for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Bangladesh.
The objective of the program was to learn the universal health coverage and gender equality of health in Maldives. The program was consisted of a visit to the Ministry of Health in Maldives, Coordination office for implementing UHC, Office for Social Health Insurance (NSPA), hospital, and health center.
On the 30th July 2018 the officials of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Bangladesh visited the Ministry of Health Maldives in the morning, to discuss the Universal Health Coverage and Gender Equality in Maldives followed by another visit in the afternoon, to the coordination office for Social Health Insurance (NSPA) to discuss "Husnuvaa Aasandha", which is a universal health scheme introduced by the Government of Maldives in February 2014, with the aim of promoting affordable and accessible health care for all Maldivian nationals.
On the 31st July 2018 the officials of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Bangladesh visited the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), which is a state-owned Multi-Speciality hospital, and the largest among the four hospitals in Male, Republic of Maldives.
Dr. Ali Nazeem, Director of Medical Services, Department of Medical Administration, briefed the participants about the hospital and took for a round tour through the departments explaining the facilities and the healthcare system of the hospital.
From the 7th August 2018, a group of 13 participants from the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT), Bangladesh have attended a week long training program organized by Easycs in collaboration with Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
The program aimed to trainin the participants in the area of Improving and Measuring Training Effects and Outcomes for Health Ministry.
The program was mainly consisted of class-room sessions which is consisted of lecture, group and individual assignment, presentation, and creative activities to make the learning process interactive, spontaneous and effective.
The classroom sessions were conducted at the Putra Business School by Mr. Akbar Ali, the subject matter specialist from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
The classroom training sessions were concluded on the 15th August 2018. Upon completion of the program participants were awarded with a certificate of complition from the Putra Business School (PBS), University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
Prof. Dr. Zulkornain, the CEO of Putra Business School, was present at the closing ceremony of the program to distribute the certificate of completion among the participants.
